The most you can earn on a single referral is $200. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.
Referrals that don't meet the full-referral standards can still earn a half credit — $50 for you and $25 for your friend — when your friend joins Never Run Out because of your referral (Section 2B). This includes friends who are already Heine customers.
In one sentence: if your friend has a standard home tank, your reward kicks in after their first 100-gallon delivery; if they're on a smaller tank, it kicks in once they join one of our higher Never Run Out plans. Either way, if they join Never Run Out within 90 days, your credit doubles. Already a Heine customer? If they join Never Run Out because of you, you both get a half credit.
2. Who qualifies
2A. Full referral ($100 + $50)
A referred friend qualifies for a full referral when all of the following are true:
New to Heine Propane. The friend has not had a Heine Propane propane delivery at the same address in the 12 months before they sign up.
Referred before the first delivery. Your referral code (or your name) was given when the friend signed up — through your referral link, on one of our forms, or by telling our office.
Inside our delivery area. The delivery address is in our service area and on our regular delivery routes.
Bulk tank delivery. Cylinder fills and bottle-station sales do not count toward Refer a Friend (see the Punch Card in Section 5).
One of these two paths is met:
Standard path
Tank of 250 gallons or larger, and the friend's first paid delivery is 100 gallons or more.
A no-charge first fill included with a tank installation does not count; the qualifying delivery must be billed and paid.
Smaller-tank path
Tank smaller than 250 gallons, and the friend enrolls in the Care or Plus tier of Never Run Out Membership on a 12-month term within 90 days of opening their account, with their first delivery paid in full.
Because this path includes a Never Run Out enrollment, it also earns the Never Run Out booster.
2B. Membership referral — half credit ($50 + $25)
If your friend doesn't meet the full-referral standards above — including if they are already a Heine Propane customer — you can still earn a half credit when all of the following are true:
Your referral code (or your name) was recorded before your friend enrolled.
Your friend enrolls in any tier of Never Run Out Membership (Basic, Care or Plus) on a 12-month term within 90 days of the referral, and was not a Never Run Out member in the 12 months before.
The delivery address is inside our service area and is a bulk tank.
You receive $50 and your friend receives $25. The Never Run Out booster does not apply to a membership referral, and a referral earns either a full referral or a membership referral — never both.
2C. Everyone else
Friends who don't meet either standard are always welcome — the referral simply doesn't earn credit. If they meet one of the standards later, the credit applies then.
A sale has to close. Credits are earned only after the friend's account is open, any tank installation is completed and billed, and the qualifying delivery (and membership enrollment, where it applies) is paid. Our staff verify every referral before any credit is applied.
3. How credits work
Referral, welcome, booster and membership-referral credits are held as loyalty points in your Heine Rewards balance on your Heine Propane account and are redeemed against your invoices. They apply to propane and service invoices, and to Never Run Out membership fees for a following membership year. Membership fees are paid up front, so a credit can’t reduce fees already paid for the current year.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Good standing. If your account is past due when your friend qualifies, the credit is held and applied once your account is current.
You cannot refer yourself, another account at your own address, or an account you manage for someone else.
Existing customers can see their credits by logging in to their rewards account. If an account has a Heine account number, account balances are shown only after logging in — never by text.
4. Affiliates (realtors, builders and outside partners)
Partners who are not Heine Propane customers can join our affiliate program under a written affiliate agreement.

A closed deal is a new customer you referred whose tank installation is completed and billed and whose first propane delivery is paid, inside our service area.
Affiliate rewards are paid as described in your affiliate agreement. Affiliates who earn $600 or more in a calendar year must provide a Form W-9, and payments may be reported to the IRS on Form 1099.
An affiliate who is also a Heine customer earns under either Refer a Friend or the affiliate program for a given referral — not both.
5. Punch Card (cylinder customers)
Earn one punch for each qualifying cylinder fill at our office. When your card is complete, your next standard cylinder fill is free.
Your card is kept digitally under your mobile number — no paper card to lose. The number of punches you need is shown in your rewards account, or text BALANCE to 817-341-7240.
Free fills are redeemed at our office. Paper punch cards can be converted to your digital card at the office.
Punches have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are separate from Refer a Friend credits.
6. Text messages
Reward updates and offers by text are sent only to people who have opted in at heinepropane.com/text-updates and confirmed by replying YES. You can text BALANCE, FRIEND or JOIN to 817-341-7240 at any time. Message frequency varies, up to 4 marketing messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. 7. General terms
Heine Propane may change, suspend or end any rewards program at any time. Changes apply going forward; credits already earned and approved are honored.
We may withhold or reverse credits obtained through fraud, duplicate or fake accounts, or misuse of the program.
Delivery, installation and membership are subject to our normal service terms, credit approval and safety requirements.
