Pre-Buy Program Terms

These are the terms of the Heine Propane Pre-Buy Program for the 2026–2027 heating season. They're written to be read. Your written enrollment confirmation states your exact gallons, price, and dates; that confirmation together with these terms is your program agreement.
1. Enrollment window
Enrollment is open from September 18, 2026 through October 16, 2026. Enrollment requests are processed in the order received. The program allotment is limited, and Heine Propane may close enrollment early if it is fully subscribed.
2. Rates and tiers

Your locked price applies only to the gallons you prepay, at the tier you enroll in. Gallons used beyond your prepaid amount are billed at our price in effect at the time of delivery.
3. How enrollment works
- You submit a request on the Pre-Buy page or by calling 817-341-7240. No payment is taken online.
- We call within one business day to confirm your gallons and tier and to arrange payment by card, bank transfer, or check.
- Your rate is locked when payment is received. Requests submitted before the window closes are honored at these rates provided payment is completed by the date stated in your confirmation.
- You receive written confirmation stating your gallons, price, total paid, and program period.
4. Program period
Prepaid gallons are for delivery during the 2026–2027 heating season, through May 31, 2027.
5. Unused gallons and refunds
If you do not use all of your prepaid gallons by May 31, 2027, the remaining value (unused gallons × your locked price) becomes a credit on your Heine Propane account and applies automatically to your next delivery. It does not expire.
If you would rather receive a refund of a prepaid balance than carry it forward as credit, a surrender charge applies to recover the cost of program management and fuel allocation. The surrender charge is stated in your enrollment agreement.
6. Deliveries
Deliveries are made through our normal routing within our service area: Hood, Parker, Johnson, Tarrant, and Somervell counties and the communities we serve around them. Pre-buy customers receive priority scheduling during high-demand periods. Standard minimum drop sizes apply; will-call customers should call before dropping below 20%.
7. What the price covers
The locked price covers propane only. Applicable state and local taxes and regulatory fees, if any, are itemized separately on your delivery ticket.
8. Eligibility
The program is open to existing Heine Propane customers first. New customers may enroll subject to account setup and a tank and system inspection per our standard onboarding.

Is pre-buy right for you?
Pre-buy suits households that want a predictable heating budget and can pay for the season up front. It's a hedge: if market prices fall over the winter you've paid more than you would have; if they rise, you're protected. Most households choose roughly what they used last winter; if you're not sure, call and we'll look up your delivery history. If a large up-front payment doesn't fit, ask about the Never Run Out Membership, which keeps you full year-round without a prepayment.
