Pre-Buy Program Terms

These terms govern the Heine Propane Pre-Buy Program for the 2026–2027 heating season ("the Program"). By enrolling and making payment, you agree to the terms below. Please read them — they are written to be understood, not to hide anything.
1. Your Locked Price and Gallons
Your locked per-gallon price applies only to the number of gallons you prepay, at the tier you enroll in:

Your enrollment confirmation will state your exact gallons purchased, price per gallon, and total paid. Gallons used beyond your prepaid amount are billed at our then-current market price.
2. Enrollment Window and Payment
- Enrollment closes Friday, July 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CT. The Program allotment is limited; enrollments are processed in the order payment is received, and the Program may close early if the allotment is fully claimed.
- Payment in full is due at enrollment, by credit/debit card, bank transfer (ACH), or check received before the deadline. Your price is locked when payment is received.
- You may cancel within 3 business days of payment for a full refund, no questions asked.
3. Program Period
Prepaid gallons are for delivery through May 31, 2027. After May 31, 2027, any unused prepaid gallons convert to an account credit as described in Section 4 — they are not forfeited.
4. Unused Gallons Become Credit — Never Forfeited
If you do not use all of your prepaid gallons by May 31, 2027, the remaining value (unused gallons × your locked price) becomes a credit on your Heine Propane account. The credit applies automatically to your next delivery, does not expire, and — if you close your account in good standing — will be refunded on request.
5. Deliveries
- Deliveries are made through our normal routing within our service area (Hood, Parker, Johnson, Somervell, and Erath counties and surrounding communities we serve). Pre-Buy customers receive priority scheduling during high-demand periods.
- Standard minimum drop sizes apply. Will-call customers should call before dropping below 20%.
- If Heine Propane is unable to deliver prepaid gallons for any reason within our control, you will be made whole: at your choice, a refund of the undelivered gallons at your locked price, or delivery at no additional cost once we are able.
6. What the Locked Price Covers
The locked price covers propane only. Applicable state and local taxes and regulatory fees, if any, are additional and will be itemized on your delivery ticket. Any delivery-fee waivers or other promotions apply only if stated in your written enrollment confirmation.
7. Program Eligibility
The Program is open to existing Heine Propane customers first. New customers may enroll subject to account setup and tank/system inspection per our standard onboarding.
8. Written Confirmation
Within one business day of payment you will receive a written confirmation (email) stating: gallons purchased, locked price, total paid, the May 31, 2027 program period, and the unused-gallon credit terms. That confirmation plus these terms are your Program agreement.
